Captain Judy has been on the water for many years all over the Florida coastlines. She got into the scallop adventures back in 2016, but she has been a fishing captain for about 6 years. She loves to fish and more importantly she loves showing others how to do it here in Central Florida.
Favorite Catch
My favorite thing to catch is Gag Grouper. These fish live in habitats that offer rocky bottoms, reefs, and drop off walls. Out of the 400 different species of grouper in the sea, Gag Grouper is one of Florida's favorite fish to eat.
Favorite Place to Fish
Out of all of Florida, my favorite place to fish is the Nature Coast. It has so many different kinds of fish species and wildlife. Some of the best sunsets and seafood can be found on this Coast. The Nature Coast of Florida consists of the eight counties that sit with the Gulf of Mexico; Wakulla, Jefferson, Taylor, Dixie, Levy, Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco.
